Better Than This
April 25, 2004 @ 7:30 p.m.

Andrea is right. And you won't fail the test tomorrow. And you don't have a job, but you have three interviews next week. You'll pay the parking ticket off. You're not sick, it's allergies. Dave visited and you saw Kill Bil Vol. 2 and for one night, all was right with the world.

And it doesn't really matter how he treats you or doesn't treat you because in two months he'll be back in Philly. You won't live with him next year and it's more than likely you won't see much of him then, if at all. It doesn't really matter that all you think about is him, and that he doesn't ever think of you, because neither of you is really required to do otherwise. It doesn't matter that you once loved him because he doesn't deserve that love and never really appreciated it anyway. It doesn't matter if you're mad at him or not because either way, he's not really going to notice. Or care. And those are all reasons why you're better off without him anyway.

Whatever happens, you can handle it and you will smile again.
